Education

Grant Priority Area

Opportunity and success are dependent on a quality education and all students need opportunities to prepare them to succeed in school and work. The foundation’s resources are targeted to underserved students to improve academic performance, graduation rates and job readiness as well as programs that create a strong foundation for learning through early childhood and school readiness programs. Our primary focus is on children from birth to completion of high school:

  • Quality early childhood education and school readiness programs that set children up for success in school.
  • Ensuring that students progress through school with grade level skills by focusing on programs that support academic performance and graduation rates including tutoring programs and summer learning with a special focus on programs that work to help students achieve grade level proficiency in reading and math.
  • Providing youth development programs that offer mentoring and teach life skills.
