Joseph S. Bruno Legacy Impact Board

To carry on the family legacy of giving and serving, a Next Gen Advisory Board was created in 2017. The goal is to develop a new generation of philanthropists ready to join the foundation board or create their own approach to meaningful service. They began by learning about needs in our community, nonprofits and philanthropy. Over the years, they have focused on various community issues within the Foundation’s focus areas.

This Board is comprised of fourteen 4th generation Bruno family members. Following the completion of a new strategic plan in 2024, they have renamed the board the Joseph S. Bruno Legacy Impact Board to better reflect their work in the community and are approaching their grantmaking with a renewed focus on making an impact in a particular area of need. They participate in an annual grant process with an allocation from the foundation grantmaking budget.
